As you know, one of the City’s goals is affordable housing. Affordable housing is one way to increase the diversity of our community and in turn help the city to develop a more inclusive culture.
Tomorrow evening the Planning Commission will be holding a hearing on and taking public comments on LU 21-0019 - the proposed re-zoning of the Boones Ferry Road Project staging area to allow for multifamily use in anticipation of the affordable housing project the City is advancing. As we would expect there is neighborhood opposition to the re-zoning.
Any support you can provide to the application would help cement overall community support (despite narrow yet vocal opposition.)
