If you've been looking to get more involved with Respond to Racism, here's a series of events you can attend in the second half of May, as well as family-friendly and art centric opportunity at the end of June.

May 16 @ 1pm: RtR Community Engagement Meeting

This is our monthly meeting held on Zoom to chat with RtR Board members and RtR community in attendance on issues happening federally, locally, and how RtR can effect positive change. Here's the link to participate:

May 17, 12-3pm: 2026 AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration

Bring your friends and family and come celebrate the diversity, creativity, and contributions of AANHPI communities at Millenium Plaza Park in Lake Oswego. There will be entertainment and a marketplace full of AANHPI-owned businesses and nonprofits. Click here for full event details.

May 30, 1-4pm: BIPOC Youth Market @ Clackamas Community College

This free, family‑friendly event offers an easy way to discover opportunities for learning, connection and summertime activities. There will be live music, delicious food, activities for kids, a community resource fair, and a vibrant marketplace filled with youth-entrepreneurs showcasing their talents, and selling their creations. June 26, 10am-12pm: LO Festival of the Arts, Community Painting

This is an all-ages event to help bring to life, Echoes of Belonging, a public art installation by artist Sahara Aylanna Defrees, developed through a collaborative partnership between the City of Lake Oswego, Respond to Racism, and the Arts Council of Lake Oswego.Please save the date, and click here for further details.
