As the days of August dim, the close of Summer draws near, and we instinctually prepare for a change of seasons. As you've known it to be, RtR is an organization that was created to disrupt racism in Lake Oswego. We are now expanding our scope to the entire Clackamas County (community members from around the county and collaborations across city lines have always been an integral part of RtR), and we're making it
official.
What does that mean?
Respond To Racism is a community-led effort to disrupt Racism in Clackamas County, Oregon. We look to educate, communicate, and reiterate discussions on how to respond to racism. Through our monthly meetings, social media presence, and community-based events, Respond To Racism serves to give concerned citizens an opportunity to grow and foster the rhetoric of how to advocate against racism in all
its forms.
