There's still time to register for the Clackamas County Equity Coalition's quarterly meeting on Thursday, Sep. 19 at Lake Oswego United Church of Christ from 5-8pm. This session will feature a panel with local elected officials and other equity leaders on Equity in Clackamas County Today and Tomorrow and will also be available on youtube.com/@respondtoracismlo for streaming and playback later.

This panel is especially timely with the release of the Coalition of Communities of Color's recent report "Cultivating Belonging in Clackamas County." The 236-page report provides long sought after data on the quality of life of communities of color throughout the county, as well as case studies, history and specific calls to action that we can all act on right now! The Coalition of Communities of Color is also looking to coordinate community events and activities to further engage with the data (see photos below from the launch celebration).

Also make sure to mark your calendars for the LO Mayor and City Council candidate forum on equity and sustainability on Monday, Oct. 7 from 6:30-8:30pm. RtR is partnering with the LO Sustainability Network to host this forum because even though the candidates are running unopposed, these issues are critical to the health and wellbeing of our community.
